New to HN, is it always so empty?

Asking people to share their project with revenue numbers rarely gets replies. Risk is too high the project gets copied.

Copying basically costs nothing. Successful marketing of a said copy is hard (and has always been).

Cannot leave unattained the fact ppl openly share metrics in various “those making X$/month” threads.

HN hasn't been an indie hackers community in years, if not a decade, so I doubt any is actually seeing this thread.
